Your novel starts with a promise to a reader: a character to follow, a world to explore, or a question worth answering. The publishing form helps you present that promise clearly. This guide follows the actual Novel47 publishing flow.
1. Prepare your story and permissions
Choose a title that belongs to your work. Write a short subtitle if it helps explain the premise. Before uploading, check that you own or have permission for the writing, translations, and cover artwork. Crediting a source alone is not permission to republish it.
2. Open the publishing form
Sign in, then choose Publish or Add New Novel. Enter the title, subtitle, and description. The publisher field begins with your username; change it if you publish under another name. Use a description that introduces the central character, the conflict, and the kind of experience readers can expect. Avoid copying a chapter into the description.
3. Choose artwork and discovery details
Add a cover, ideally in a 2:3 portrait ratio. An optional wide banner gives your novel page another visual entry point. Your uploaded images library can reuse artwork already saved with your novels or chapters. Choose the genres that fit, a few useful tags, the original language, and an appropriate age rating. Accurate categories are more useful than a long list of unrelated keywords.
4. Decide whether to keep a draft
A draft gives you time to work privately. When your novel is ready to submit, select the appropriate publication status, review the preview, and confirm the publishing permissions. Creation saves the novel; moderation approval makes a submitted novel available to the public.
5. Add the first chapter
Open your profile and find My Novels. Choose Add Chapter for your story. Write the original text and add any authorized translations in their language tabs. The parent novel must be approved before a chapter can be published. See the chapter guide for the writing tools and submission steps.
After approval
Approved work can appear in the catalogue, home discovery feeds, and the sitemap. Search engines decide whether and when to index a page. A complete description, accurate author information, genuine reader feedback, and useful chapters help readers understand the work. Keep sharing good writing rather than repeating search terms.
