Readers sometimes want to support the people behind the stories they enjoy. Novel47 lets you add external donation or membership links to your author profile. These are optional links to services you manage yourself, not payments processed by Novel47.
Open your own settings
Sign in and open your profile. Choose Settings, then the Donations tab. This is part of your account settings, so make sure you are editing your own profile rather than viewing another author.
Copy the correct page address
Use the full HTTPS address for your PayPal, Ko-fi, or Patreon page. Copy the public support page from the provider, not a private dashboard, account session, or payment confirmation URL. Never put passwords, secret tokens, or bank details in a public profile field.
Save and test the link
Save your donation settings. Open the saved public link and check that it reaches your page and presents the name you expect readers to see. If you change providers or rename your page, update the link here as well. A broken link can make a willing supporter give up.
Explain your offer honestly
If your external page includes memberships, explain the benefits and delivery schedule there. Do not imply that a donation is required to read ordinary public chapters. Avoid promising a release schedule you cannot maintain. Support is a choice, and a clear description helps readers make that choice.
Understand the payment boundary
The external provider handles the payment flow and applies its own policies and fees. Review its settings and records directly. Novel47 does not store the payment card details entered on those external pages. For a problem with a payment, start with the provider’s support process.
You can find other profile features in Documentation, or contact Novel47 about a broken site link.
