Verified Author is for writers who want a clearer publishing path and a profile readers can trust. It is not a reward for popularity, and it does not give anyone ownership of your work.
What verification helps with
Verified authors can be eligible for faster review and, when their account has earned trusted-publishing status, automatic approval for eligible work. Normal submissions are always welcome too; verification should make publishing smoother, not make new writers feel excluded.
Prepare your profile
Use an author name that readers can recognize. Add a profile image, short bio, and links that represent you or your work. Keep your language, genres, and publishing details accurate. A complete profile makes it easier for the team to confirm that the account represents the same writer across submissions.
Send your request
Open your profile and choose **Verified Author**. Explain where you publish or share a public portfolio link. Do not include passwords, private documents, payment details, or information that should not be public. The team reviews requests individually and may ask for a public clarification.
What happens next
You will receive a notification when the request is approved, declined, or needs more information. Verification can be removed if the account is used to impersonate someone, publish unauthorized work, or break community rules. If you are new, publish normally first—your story can still be reviewed and discovered.
